David has managed the accounts of major corporates working at a leading communication consultancy.
He was bureau chief for a daily commercial newspaper and has written for community and regional newspapers.
David managed teams of communication specialists for federal government departments in Canberra. He has also worked for state, regional and local government bodies.
He has developed government advertising campaigns, including the acclaimed “Quarantine Matters” TV, radio and print campaign featuring the late Steve Irwin.
David chaired the joint state/federal National Counter-Terrorism Committee’s Public Communication Sub-committee, managing the nation’s counter-terrorism communication strategies and media responses.
He also led media teams handling national emergencies including cyclones, bushfires and floods for the federal government’s Emergency Management Australia.
KELLI FINLAYSON – principal consultant
Kelli has extensive experience in corporate project and event management.
She is also an accomplished corporate relationship and sponsorship manager.
Kelli has worked as a senior sales executive for a national corporate and managed high-profile national government projects, based out of Canberra.
Prior to establishing the corporate relations arm of WordBiz Kelli was Corporate Services Manager with the Geelong Chamber of Commerce.
Kelli managed the highly-respected Geelong Business Excellence Awards for six years.
Her breadth of experience includes building her own successful small manufacturing business.
